Nonostante il bel risultato ottenuto nella 2a manche del Gp di Svezia con un ottimo 3? posto sotto la bandiera a scacchi, Tommy Searle ? stato retrocesso di 10 posizioni per aver saltato nonostante ci fosse una bandiera gialla che sventolava a causa di una caduta. Gli ? stata assegnata la 13a posizione.
Il pilota ha ricevuto la conferma della penalizzazione quando era in aeroporto e il suo commento riguardo l’accaduto ? stato abbastanza forte perch? ha affermato di non aver visto la bandiera perch? lo sbandieratore era poco visibile.

“On my way to the airport just heard the give me a 10 place penalty second moto such bullshit when you can’t even see the flagger on the jump, so that puts me from 3rd to 13th dunno why the do stupid shit like that just a piss take need to get there priorities right!
