              Ok.
I know what the problem is.

I'm not gonna directly say what the problem is but I will clear the air.

It is NOT in the ECU!

It is exactly what they are saying in the press release.

You will want to return your bike and get a new one.

It has nothing to do with the ZX10R being a flawed design. It is a quality control issue that can happen in any engine ever built.

There is an issue with the engine. Its not going to blow up. There is some accelerated wear that you would never really know until you run the motor for awhile.

They are probably going to stop production of all bikes until they find out why this happened or make a change to make sure this isn't going to happen again.

Like I said there is no flaw in the bike's design just the durability.

You don't want to keep your bike. Give it back and get a new one. The new one will be better and should have more power.

I commend Kawasaki for doing this as I have seen another brand have this exact same problem and did nothing about it and left it to the customers to deal with.

I'm going to leave it at that.

I have a great relationship with Kawasaki and tend to keep it that way.
They can reveal that if they want to.

This kind of thing happens in production bikes and you can't see this problem on the assembly line all that easy.

I'm thinking one of their outsourced companies will have to step it up or loose the work.

Mah
