    Nordschleife (Nurburgring)

Ok... are there any peope here with enough balls to enter the "Ring" ?

You can tell your experiences about the Nordschleife / Ring here.

Last year i was there.... in July... i did not ride on the track because of my 25kw-restriction and because i wasn't fit enough, i was a little ill.

    Buttttt... i have a sticker

I'm not a track rider (only once, Monza) but the Nordschleife is an unbelievable attraction for me!
I was actually planning to go there during my august holidays a couple of years ago, but I chickened out... Plus, nobody dared come with me!

I have read a lot about this track (also on the internet), and downloaded a bunch of videos from the site of a guy who went there very often.
Unfortunately this person had a fatal accident while riding the Ring...
Don't even know if the site is still up...

Still, the idea is to go there one day (when I have enough guts and time!).

    P.S. Nice sticker

I am going to Ring in May again.....

And yes, it's an unbelievable dangerous track with very much accidents....

You need about 50 rounds (depends on your talent) to know the track a bit...

Ride very easy at your first rounds, the danger is waiting for you next to the track......

Note: Not writing my own experience but of alot "Ringers"

Alot friends of me went to the Ring every year... so i can know

PS: The movie on the homepage in the video-section called "Kawasaki ZX 10 R crazy on open road".... is that you?

I think you have to be a little crazy to buy a ZX10R

My relatives live 100Km far from the holy Nurburgring, so I'd like to bring my motorcycle whit me once, when I'll go meet them and try that fantastic circuit.

Mr.Suzuki, PLEASE, tell us your experience!!!

                Devix,

I live 280km from the Ring...... i can be there in only 3 hours...

Well, like i said, i was there in May but i didn't ride on the Ring because i found myself not fit enough because i was ill and because my Bandit is 25kw-limited......

So i can't tell you anything from my own experience, too bad. Maybe next year in May.........

First rule is to stay at the right side and let every faster bike or car pass

                Breeze:

Sure! Count me in for a Daidegas-Meet on the Ring

                PS: What does Daidegas means?

How many years do you ride on bikes? And how many km?

Because it's a VERY agressive bike which can kill an beginner instantly.....

Well, I rode my first bike at the age of 15; I'm now 39 (well practically 40! ).
Three years of motocross racing (Aprilia 50, KTM 125, KTM 250) and then a long stop due to university; four years ago I bought my first road bike and then three more:
                      CBR 929
                      CBR 954
                      GSXR 1000 K3
                      ZX-10R

You are right: the ZX-10R is an animal... but a lot depends if you ride with your brain switched off... or ON!

You have nothing to worry then.... if you keep using your brain! So many years of experience.... it's not a difficult task i guess to keep using your brain then

When i was Italy i saw alot of stupid bikers..... reckless driving, no protection.... only short pants and t-shirt
