If you want to ride in an not so busy period..... go in the mid-weeks, not in the weekends (saturday, sunday)

Stephan, do you have any videos of the Ring (or links)?

I used to download videos from J?rund Seim's site, but after his tragic death due to a crash on an oil-spill in Pflanzgarten in 2002, it has been shut down.
I know a group of his friends are trying to set it up again but the link does not seem to work.

A close friend of mine use to go there with is 997s Porsche at least 3 or 4 times in a year... We enjoy ourself a lot watching at his on-board clips (taken hiding the camera on the roof of the car, since, in theory, it's "illegal" to take pictures or movies inside the track...)
Sooner or later I'll go there too with my bike!!

That would be really great; we could mount the camera on both bikes so we would each have a lap seen from the bike behind!

My young and inexperienced friend, that would be possible only if I shut the throttle...

A couple of weeks ago I had to reinstall all my software due to a virus and I did not replace MSN because I never used it... plus I have a 56K connection from home...
I'll look for it on monday!
Anyway I found some vids made by J. Seim, always great to look at... poor guy, I feel really sorry for him.

Stephan, is the Ring really as dangerous as they say?

Yes..... because of the height-difference you can't really see the corners on forehand.... so you really have to know them to know your perfect line...

56k... hmmm... then it's not very nice to download the GR3 DVD which is 4,8GB

Will take a couple of laps at least to learn!

They say you have to ride at least 50 rounds to know the Ring a little....

For some nice pictures look here at Verslagen (pictures are included since 2003) :
