ZARCO CRITICIZES LORENZO: ?HE DOESN?T PAY TAXES OR PAY FEW, I PAY MINE?


Johann Zarco?s early farewell to KTM last year led him to forgot some of the millions of euros he had to receive if he fulfilled the contract with the austrians. The frenchman returned to the subject, making a hard attack on Jorge Lorenzo, who accuses him of having stayed at Honda because of the money.

Zarco claims he wasn?t feeling well and so he left, comparing his case to that of the mallorcan when he said that the now Yamaha test rider would be more concerned with the money to be received from Honda and for that reason he would have stayed so long with bad results. Here is the controversial statement by Zarco, as quoted in the spanish press:

? I think he was more afraid [of leaving] because of the money than me. I think that?s why he waited so long [to withdraw at the end of the season]. But I don?t think like him, for me money matters much less than for him. I had to ask for credit to have my home. He lives in a country where he pays no taxes, or pays few. I live in France, pay my taxes and a mortgage. I had many reasons to continue because of the money, but I didn?t.

The war of words between Johann Zarco and Jorge Lorenzo started. The Frenchman accused the Majorcan of not leaving Honda earlier because he likes the money better than he, who has abdicated millions in his contract with KTM. Lorenzo has already responded, clearly upset by Zarco?s boldness.

?I don?t like to get into anyone?s economic management, each one does what he can with what he has? but unfortunately he got into where he doesn?t have anything to do with. I think he should be asking himself how it is that after ten years in the world championship, being twice the world champion and signing with KTM, is he still paying his home mortgage??, the Yamaha test rider asked quoted in the spanish press.

Secondo me per? non ? trasparente il tutto: sotto penso ci siano frasi non dette relativame te al fatto che Zarco sentisse suo di diritto il posto in Hrc ed invidia Lorenzo che, nonostante l'abbia avuto, non ha combinato nulla.

Forse potrebbe essere anche una frecciata al team Hrc che non ha preso Zarco n? la prima volta, n? la seconda dopo che aveva guidato la Honda Lcr.

Ha sparlato di Lorenzo, ma solo come facciata.
